Update 9/17

Image
I've been on the road since August 10. I'm running away from the hurricane peak, leaving my friends, family, and house to take care of themselves. I'm currently in Breckenridge, CO. I have been flying Farrah in some beautiful and mountainous country after several weeks of city park flying in Denver along with Cisco. About ten days ago, Cisco couldn't fly at all. He's now come roaring back, his hurt wing seems to be good. Tomorrow Ben Maulden and I will take him to some woods for a real test. Ben Maulden, who I have not seen in fifteen years accosted me outside the condo where I am staying (thank you Ron Holder). Amazing that I happened to run into him. A new season, and an inadvertent squirrel chase

Up in Denver. Though molting still, I have Cisco flying loose, and put Farrah on a creance today. Cisco chased a squirrel at the little nearby park..... Inadvertent actually, but Cisco looked serious. Then he flew down from the pine tree and I went back to exercising him. He's out of shape. Both buzzards are still molting.
